· Open Pleasure & Gymkhana Shows: July 18-19, 2009

o Set date for next year?

· Open Arena / Gymkhana Practice: Last practice tomorrow, Sept. 9th at 6PM!

o August 12 – Mock Show- Report?

· Stiefvater Scholarships:  Winners of the two $75 scholarships were Holly Lentz & Courtney Zima.  Alternates were Lacey Swetlik and Maddie Schamburek.

· 2009 County Fair:

o Superintendants (Marilyn & Tanya) report?

o Thank you to the show volunteers and breakfast brigade!!

o Stall Decoration Judging Winners: Large Club-It’s A Cinch, Small Club: Cato Future Farmers.

o Other brief comments/suggestions for next year.

· Annual Charter Renewal requirements: Review Revised By-laws & Horse Project Guidelines.  All Charter documents and financial report due to 4H office by Dec. 1.

· Any other Old Business?

 

New Business:

· State Gymkhana, Sept. 12-13.  State Horse Expo, Sept. 17-20: Sponsorships and tack stall fees paid by committee.  Stall banners?

· Wisconsin 4H Horse Leaders Conference: November 13-15, 2009, UW-Oshkosh.  Youth 7^th grade & up and adult leaders may attend.

· WI State 4H clinic grant application: deadline Nov. 1, for $250 grant.  See application for details.

· Election of Officers for 2009/2010.

· Any other new business?
