Our Participation Program was designed to encourage interest, involvement, and responsibility through active participation in the many activities offered through the 4-H Horse/Horseless Horse Project.

(Read the rules and instructions in your booklet carefully!)

· Turn in one sponsorship for our 4-H Horse Show

· Attend three 4-H club Meetings

· Attend one Horse Committee Meeting

· TWO hours of volunteer work of your choice at Horse-A-Rama/4-H Used Tack Booth, Open Arenas, Manitowoc Co 4-H Horse Show, any other Manitowoc Co 4-H Horse Committee event,

· ONE your choice of Horse Committee meeting OR ONE hour volunteer work

Requirements to show at the Manitowoc County Fair:

Your Participation Booklet must be handed in to your club's main leader with your fair entry.

Once all fair entries have been received at the Expo office, the booklets are collected and reviewed by members of the Horse Committee. Each valid, signed entry is counted, and the person with the most entries receives a belt buckle and/or other special prize.

For each valid, signed entry in your book, your name is put into a prize drawing. The more you participate, the more chances you have in the bucket to win prizes! And we give out LOTS of prizes!!!

Prizes and awards are given out at our special Participation Party at the Manitowoc County Fair. Watch for more details as the date gets closer!

 

 

As you see, these requirements are easy to do,

so have lots of fun this year at all the great activities 4-H has to offer!
