MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION AND ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES

 

All member and leader 4-H re-enrollment forms are due NO LATER THAN October 31^st.  Members who re-enroll after that date, will NOT BE ALLOWED to enter their projects in the Manitowoc County Fair the following summer under 4-H. 

New members must be enrolled by May 1st in order to enter in that year’s fair also.  Project changes must be completed by May 1^st  in order to be recognized for the County Fair entry process.

Membership in 4-H is open to every Manitowoc County youth from Kindergarten to one year after graduation from high school.

To enroll in the Manitowoc County 4-H Program, all youth and adults are required to complete a Manitowoc County 4-H Enrollment Form.

New and re-enrolling members can join 4-H at anytime throughout the year.  If they enroll after the due dates, they can take part  in any and all other aspects of the 4-H program except entering in the County Fair.

No person shall on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or political affiliation be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any aspect of the Manitowoc County 4-H organization, including, but not limited to, all programs and activities.

 

ENROLLMENT GUIDELINES

Kindergarten, 1^st, and 2^nd graders enroll in CLOVERBUDS.

3^rd graders may enroll in Exploring (optional) or one to two projects.

Those enrolling that are 4^th grade and higher as a new member, may enroll in two projects if they wish.

Members may add one project for each year of membership.

Recommend that no 4-H member enroll in more than six projects.

 

HOW TO ENROLL

Fill out ENROLLMENT FORM.

List project name and number from this Enrollment Guide.

Circle if you need literature or are a Youth Leader for a project.

Return form to your Main Leader or Enrollment Coordinator along with your ENROLLMENT FEE and Club Dues (if club has dues).  Youth in multi-clubs--only one club required to pay enrollment fee.  Fees cover accident insurance for all 4-H activities and literature costs.

$12.00  Fee for regular 4-H members

$13.00  Fee for horse 4-H members
