State 4-H Gymkhana & State 4-H Horse Expo

                

                 Competition was held this past month at Wisconsin State Fair Park. Congratulations to all our participants in these State 4-H events!  Manitowoc County was well represented and we are very proud of our kids!  See results below.

 

2008/2009 Horse Committee Officers

 

                 Our newly elected Horse Committee Officers for the upcoming year are:  Chairperson: Brenda Weyers; Vice-Chairperson: Anne Siebold; Secretary: Marilyn Lentz; Treasurer: Sheila Cron.  We are looking forward to another fun and educational year of horse activities!               

                

Next Horse Committee Meeting is October 14, 7 PM at the Manitowoc County Office Complex.  We will begin planning for the upcoming year, so anyone with ideas, suggestions, etc. should plan to attend!  For more info please see our Horse Project website at www.4hhorseproject.manty.org.

Courtney Zima:  Top Ten Awards in Hunt Showmanship, Hunt Equitation, Trail, Photography, Scrapbook and Clothing.

 

Brianna Siebold:  Top Ten Award in Hunter Under Saddle.

 

Amber Siebold:  Top Ten Award in Trail.

 

Brittney Weyers:  Reserve Champion in Hunt Equitation, Top Ten Awards in Hunt Showmanship, Hunter Under Saddle & Western Pleasure.

 

Crystal Peterman:  Grand Champion in Hunt Showmanship & Western Showmanship, Top Ten in Western Pleasure.

 

Briana Propson:  Top Ten Awards in Pony Western Showmanship, Pleasure Driving & Reinsmanship.

 

Kelly Wilfert:  Top Ten Award in Photography.

 

And congratulations to Holly Lentz and her horse Sparky for personal bests!
