 Old Business:

Horseless/Beginners:  Project meetings will be held ONLY at Little Brook Performance Horses.  Shann currently has seven project members, but could do more with a little help.  We will revisit things with Gary Barnes in April.

Winter Project Meetings:  People gave their reports on the February project meeting.  Many thanks to Shari Riesterer & family and Christal Mulder for the facilities and lesson on judging.  If you plan to bring your horse to the March project meeting, don’t forget to get your 2009 Coggins test done.  Please RSVP to Marilyn by 3/21 if you’ll be bringing your horse, along with your goals.

Open Pleasure & Gymkhana Shows: Ribbons have been ordered for 2nd-5th places, and for the gymkhana show.  The committee decided on belt buckles for gymkhana high point awards, and possibly mounting blocks for pleasure high point.  Anne Siebold will price trophies of various sizes.  Mishicot FFA will operate the food booth both show days.  The committee approved buying hunter hack equipment on halves with Branch River Riders (about $60).  The volunteer sign-up sheets were passed around once again.  Show bills will available at Horse-A-Rama.

Horse-A-Rama:  The volunteer sign-up sheet was passed around again.  Saddle racks are also needed, as always.

Stall Banner Sweat Shop:  To be held March 22nd. Bring sewing machines, food, green/brown/off white thread.

New Business:

Horse Bowl:  Marilyn will send out an email looking for members to form our team(s), along with links to practice questions.  Driver reimbursement will be discussed at the April meeting.

Spring Horse Camp:  Jack & Paula Curtis will be our clinicians.  Topics and meals will be discussed at the April meeting.

Open Arena/Gymkhana Practices:  Lunging and Trail were topics suggested for Open Arenas.  Regular dates are 6/24, 7/8 & 29, and 8/12.  Other Wednesdays in between, from May through September, will be Gymkhana team practices.  They will also schedule 4 of those nights (once per month) with a clinician

Fundraising:  The 50/50 raffle has been approved.  Some paperwork will need to be done.

Participation Prizes:  Anne Siebold volunteered to purchase prizes at Horse-A-Rama.  Anyone who finds a good deal should feel free to purchase and be reimbursed by the committee.

Charter Requirements:  Charter Renewal documents have been completed.  The committee approved the change of By-Law 7.3 to read:  “Voting members are any registered adult horse project leader, and any youth horse project member in 7th grade or above.”
