It is the 4-H member’s responsibility to keep track of his/her eligible activities for the year.  They must be correctly recorded in the provided Participation Book.  This book MUST be turned in to your club leader with your fair entry form by June 27th, 2008 for the youth to be considered for an award and/or prizes.

Text Box: Instructions Manitowoc County 4-H Horse/Horseless Horse Project Member, This is your 2007-2008 Participation Book. Participation in many educational activities is encouraged for all members! Mandatory requirements to show at the 2009 fair are: Turn in ONE sponsorship for the 4-H Horse Show by June 30, 2008 Attend THREE 4-H Club Meetings Attend ONE Horse Committee Meeting, AND ONE hour of volunteer work of your choice at Horse-A-Rama/4-H Used Tack Booth, Open Arenas, Manitowoc Co 4-H Horse Show, any other Manitowoc Co 4-H Horse Committee event, AND ONE your choice of Horse Committee meeting OR ONE hour volunteer work NOTICE: To qualify for attending a Horse Committee Meeting, you must be present by 7:15, and must stay until 8:00 (or till the end) If in doubt, write it in anyway! All entries will be considered. For each qualified entry in your book, you get one entry in the special prize drawing to be held at the County Fair. EACH HOUR of volunteer work also counts as a point, so make sure you write in how long you worked! Special awards will be given to the people with the most entries. So have LOTS of fun this year at all the great activities the Manitowoc County 4-H Horse Project has to offer.
