Meeting Called to Order--7:05 PM by Chairperson Kelly Hansen. Attendance: Kelly & Lindsay Hansen, Tanya Joas, Kaylyn, Lucy & Kelsey Cigler, Sheila & Krandin Cron, Brenda Weyers, Joel & Kim Luedtke, Briana Propson, Barb & Megan Pritzl, Terri & Kelly Wilfert, Mary, Rachel & Courtney Livingood, Briana, Lacey & Colton Swetlik, Marilyn Lentz, Anne Siebold, Sara, Carly & Faith Lubner, Hannah & Clare Bauer, Cheyenne Mueller, Ricky Luckow, Lane & Kayla Gosz, Sara Hasselman. Secretary's report: Passed as read. Treasurer's report: Passed as read.
Old Business: Spring Trail Ride: Was May 17 at the Green Bay Reforestation Camp. Sparse attendance, but nice trails. Spring Camp: June 13,14 at ExpoFriday evening will be potluck and Horse & Horseless Games. Barb will collect money for stalls, camping and clinic. Porta-potties have been ordered. Extra coolers are needed for ice. Volunteer sign-up sheets will be available in the office. Brenda will get ribbons for Friday night games. Don't forget a dish to pass for Friday potluck. 2008 July Show: Saturday, July19th, 2008. Sign-up to volunteer if you haven't already--we still need a gatekeeper for Halter classes and some to measure ponies in the morning. Awards have all been ordered. Marilyn will take care of the Show Booklet, but will need a list of the Sponsors from Sheila once they are all in. Brenda will ask Ruth to email the showbill to other county 4-H's. Pre-registration forms will be available on the website, or call show co-chairs to pre-register for classes. Stalls should also be reserved ahead. Payment will be due the day of the show. See showbill for details. Porta-potties are ordered. Open Arena: Summer dates for "Open Arena" mini-clinics will be the following Wednesdays at 6:30 PM: June 25, July 9, July 30 and August 13. June 25 will be Ring Etiquette/Safety. Topics/clinicians for July and August dates to be determined.
New Business: 2008 Fair: Fair Books and entry forms are all online this year at www.manitowoccountyexpo.com. If you do not have access to the internet, call Kelly Hansen, 894-1546. Entry forms & Participation Books are due by June 27 to your main leader. Sponsorships are due to Sheila Cron by June 30th. Deb Zima has purchased prizes for the Participation Party. Any interested adults can help count up participation book points on Wed. July 16 at 6PM at Marilyn Lentz's house. 2008/09 Participation Books: Available at Horse Camp--same rules except double points available for State 4-H events, and a point can be earned if you do a horse-related demonstration for your club, county, etc.
