Old Business: Horseless Horse & Beginning Horse project meetings. Shann Schwartz will again hold meetings at Little Brook Performance Horses in Newton. Rising Star Stables in Francis Creek, owned by Gary Barnes & Amy Olson, is our 2nd location. Enrollment numbers? Winter Project Meetings: v Sat. January 31 at 10AM at Joan Waak's (Angels Flight Farm) focusing on Tack and Hippology (horse parts). Discuss meeting details. v Feb. 28 at Riesterer's stable-Beginning Halter Judging with Christel Mulder, and Horse Bowl Review. v March 28 at Waak's-bring horses for a dressage clinic (how to show in the "dressage suitability" class?) 2009 Coggins required. Open Pleasure Show: July 18, 2009. Chairpersons: Brenda Weyers and Barb Pritzl o Judge hired-David Pansy o Showbill o Volunteer Sign-up o Insurance for both days Open Gymkhana Show: July 19,2009. Chairpersons: Lucy Cigler and Sandy Swetlik o Showbill o Volunteer Sign-up Any other Old Business? New Business: Horse-A-Rama, April 4-5 (set up April 3). 4H Used Tack Booth volunteers needed. Horse Project Spring Mailing/Email: Send by end of March. Person in charge? Website: Thank you to our new webmaster Marilyn Lentz. Miscellaneous: Scholarships; Sweat Shop for stall banners; new member meeting/letter; review bylaws. Other Dates for 2009: Horse Bowl & Hippology, May 5, Wausau.
